I wanted a bass mic stand that would not topple over with a heavier mic attached to its end. Product was in excellent shape, looks great and is pretty well constructed! The reason I say pretty well is that the piece that connects boom to stand is made of some type of plastic not steel like rest of stand... whatever.. Still works great and is very sturdy. Thank you!

(More customer reviews)Very useful. Easy to put together. Comes with vinyl case. Very flat for storage. Sturday with mixer on botton and 18 inch heavy HP Laptop on the top shelf. Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Now laptop at eye level and not reaching over to access keys. Would be nice if another shelf were available for purchase and better if shelf had some way of securing the external portable USB hard drives as they just sit on a flat surface and have the potential to fall down especially if plugged in during a DJ job.

On Stage Heavy Duty Mixer or Keyboard Stand, Large Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 67 lbs 88 key Keyboard. Under this weight this stand does not shake at all. Also the range of its height and width are perfect. the only problem it has is that if you want to use it in its highest adjustment it is going to start shaking like a X stand but in a normal sitting height it is as solid as rock. I strongly recommend this stand. if you are looking for a good bench as well, I recommend KT7800+ piano bench. With WS8550 piano stand and KT7800+ Piano bench I can play for hours without feeling uncomfortable.

Koenig Meyer 12150 Pro Laptop Stand Adjustable Laptop Stand and Mouse Rest Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this stand for shooting tethered for my laptop along side a tripod for portraits. When it came I was surprised on the quality & construction of the stand. It sets up under 10 seconds. The plate, knobs & legs are extremely well made. Its not inexpensive but you'll see why: There's another company that makes a laptop stand called Lizell Quickstand Plus which is about $20.00 less but it does not compare to the sturdiness and build quality of this one. This adjusts up to 4ft. high whereas the Lizell only goes up to 2.5 ft., It also has a mouse plate just under the main plate(the only stand that comes with one which I dont use) And last but not least - It's Made in Germany! When it comes to engineering no other country does it better.
Application Use: I found use for it in places I never imagined! Next to my bed as I'm laying down is the most common, kitchen, park, poolside, on location photo shoots, and just about anyhwere you can use your laptop (BTW, laptop pc's shouldn't be named Laptop anymore as most of us never use it on our laps or at least its difficult to use it on your lap unless your watching a movie but even then you can only do that for so long :)
For me it's worth every penny! As my laptop is now on it 80% of the time.

Marathon Flight Road Case MA-Mc102P Holds 10U Slant Top, 2U Bottom, Recessed Mount Hardware Review

(More customer reviews)I DJ at clubs, cafes, homes and weddings (ie. everywhere). Got the case delivered to my door and saw that the packaging was bigger than I originally thought. After peeling away the cardboard, I got to the case. First thing I noticed was that it looked bigger (and heavier) than my original impression.
Very spacious...everything I had in my smaller carpeted case fit perfectly (and I mean everything). I can already see that air flow (for cooling the CD decks, mixer and wireless microphone receiver) is not going to be an issue because of the large open top-back. I was having a tough time with the wires/cables in my previous smaller case, but that point is now moot. The fact that the spacers on the sides of the case are angled and not flat/horizontal to the ground is a very nice touch....and it included all of the necessary bolts and washers to help install the equipment in the case.
One drawback is that it is kind of heavy, but that's to be expected from a wood/carpeted case. There is no cutout at the bottom to snake through cables and the large opening does show the back of the mixer, but if you take care of your equipment and keep it clean, it shouldn't be an issue - and if you have a 'surround' to hide your equipment/music, then it is no problem at all. I even added some velcro to make it even more organized.
If there were a plastic/lightweight *carpeted* case (I don't want to look like a tech-head with a flight-case - not a good look for wedding DJs), I'd buy it...but the spaciousness, overall look and price are a great deal.

I was looking for a laptop stand that could hold a laptop above my MIDI keyboard, and which allowed for flexibility in positioning. I don't DJ but the design allows for rapid setup and breakdown. The construction is excellent -- welds are strong and the stand is robust. It's a pricey item but I've did a fair amount of research before purchasing and I'd judge it to be one of the best on the market.

(More customer reviews)I've had this mic stand for a while now. About two months ago the tightening knob broke and the arm would not stand still anymore. I thought that the ceramics and steel were good combination, what i didn't know was that the spiral inside the knob (that hepls it tighten) started to wear off over time, next thing you know it didn't even hold at all. I would not recommend people wasting their money on this product.
I was initially satisfied with it, but now i know that my 20 dollars went down the drain.

Stanton Uberstand Laptop Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I just used the Stanton Uberstand for a club DJ gig. I had to travel via train to get to the gig and I was lugging around two laptops and an Xponent, so the Uberstand's light weight and flat profile (when folded) was a real plus. The body is also solidly constructed, and its silver finish is complementary to my Macbook Pro 15-inch unibody. In order to fit the legs of the stand under my Xponent, I have to place my Xponent on some drink coasters, but that's not a big issue (helps keep the Xponent off the table in case of drink spillage). When set up, it feels solid and unlikely to topple over when bumped. The rubber at the end of the legs also keeps the laptop from moving while balanced on the top. The stand also comes with a snug-fitting carry case.
My only gripe is that you need a (provided) plastic handcuff thing to hold the base in place when you are setting it up. I can see myself losing this plastic handcuff eventually, so I would prefer some mechanical locking mechanism instead. Other than this one gripe, this is an excellent product for mobile DJs.

Marathon MA-M6U Flight Road Case Review

(More customer reviews)I was able to fit my Behringer mixer (with the mountable adapter 'ears'), Crown power amp, power conditioner, and a custom shelf all in this case. The case is sturdy with quality hardware. The 'Marathon' plate is necessary as the slanted mixer will come down into the vertical space and this covers it up as you would loose that space anyways due to the bottom of the mixer. This case is rugged and ready for gigs!
