Namba Gear Kava Laptop Studio Bag, High Performance Bag for Musicians & DJs, in Olive Green, KLS-GN Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a vertical type studio bag for my unibody macbook pro 17 which fits very snug. I dont think you can get away with having another case over a macbook and being able to stuff it in its laptop slot.
Anyway, I love this bag. It was hard to tell from the images if the storage and compatments would be enough but there was more storage than expected. Id say it wouldnt work to well for someone that has a lot to carry around, but I assumed on a normal occasion I would be traveling with less, and if I needed to bring more hardware I can just get a separate bag for the extras.
The bag is slim, so it does not bounce around too much supposing you have it in a good spot over your shoulder.
I hate when shoulder bags bounce around. Especially if they it is carrying expensive equipment.
I especially love the zippered compartment on the flap which allows easy access to more common accessories without opening the main compartment of the bag. Inside of this compartment there is a small pocket for placing 'something' in, but it doesnt securely close, so anything you place in there will undoubtly come out when you raise this flap which seems like a pointless pocket.
There are 4 pen holders overall, 2 of which are in the outter flap which is a plus because it is easily accessable.
There is a handle on the top of this bag which I use often, especially when taking the bag off my shoulder so it does not fall to the ground.
I wish the zippered compartment on the rear of the bag was a little deeper.
Also, the main clip on this bag is a little tough to click together. I guess that can be seen as a good thing because it wont come loose, but it snagged my finger the first time which really stung!!!
Overall, I love this bag. Very easy on the shoulder, very well constructed, love the olive green color and got a unbeatable price of around 50 bucks on amazon for it. Guess no one cares for the green, but i like how the green bag is more color consistent then the other bags such as the grey/red one or the brown/blue one. This one is green on green. love it love it love it.

American DJ 4.9mW green laser built in programs produces 32 geometrical shapes Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from Musician's Friends a couple weeks ago. This type of equipment tends to be really expensive, but this one was under $90 bucks and it didn't take me long to find out why; Needless to say the one I got didn't work but that is beyond the point. Warranty is ridiculous, the manufacturer won't even stand by its product. The documentation (which by the way resembles cheap Chinese souvenirs manuals) has more paragraphs listing warranty exceptions than pages explaining the product. Getting customer support is wishful thinking. Bottom line is that if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!

Korg Kaossilator Pro Tabletop Synthesizer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Like another reviewer here at Amazon, I also got the original kaossilator a couple of years ago and started to spend a lot of time with it. I was reading an article named "Make Music Now" on a magazine related to electronic and computer music when I first learned about the kaossilator. I'm not a musician and, for many reasons, I never allowed myself to learn music. I always had a passion for music, specially with lots of synths like Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Airsculpture, RedShift, FSOL, Vangelis, Synergy, Passport, Jean-Luc Ponty, etc, etc. I have always been a passive listener, until now. When the new kaossilator pro came out I went right away to the youtube website to watch all those people showing their experiences and amazing creativity about this new musical instrument from Korg. Few months later I got my kaossilator pro. Both devices (Kaossilator and Kaossilator Pro) definitely are not toys. They are a very powerful, dynamic and portable musical instruments. As with every musical instrument they have their pros and cons. If you really want to learn more about these two devices go to the net and watch others about what they are doing with them (for all kinds of music). Those people have been like teachers to me.Making my own music is my new hobby. I have been doing this for a couple of years and my family, relatives, and friends have been pushing me to "release" an album. I have had released only one single with the main purpose to understand the whole production process. It is a very simple and very very inexpensive process to release digital music. I did a promise to myself about learning a little bit of formal music before releasing a complete album. Please do a search for "echoes from kiwi" here at amazon.com. That music was done using an iphone, the original kaossilaor, and the kaossilator pro. Again, the main purpose of "echoes from kiwi" is to demonstrate how easy is to create music using a very small and relatively inexpensive musical instruments and a computer. If you, like me, want to start creating your own music and have lots of fun, the kaossilator pro can be your first musical instrument. I bet you will master it in no time.Thank you for reading my review.
Eduardo Nava.

American DJ Supply ENFERNO Special Effects Lighting Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this product directly from American DJ. Their shipping and customer service was very good. The product, however, did not look like the picture, but still gives the flame effect I needed for our fireplace display. The Silk Flame had to be shipped to me later because it was missing from the box. It would have been a great product if it worked right. It worked for what we needed, but it was frustrating because the lights would go out with the slightest nudge to the base. I will note that I did buy it at a DISCOUNTED price and the product was advertised as being "blemished." I called American DJ and they assured me it worked and the base was just dented. Maybe if I had bought it brand new it wouldn't have the same problems I had with it? Anyway, I gave it three stars because only one light was working consistently the whole time we needed it. I don't know how reusable it will be because of this. I wish they would come up with a similar product that's a lot more sturdy. Will add a video review later.
