I have been a DJ/KJ for over 23 years,I wanted to get a new Amplifier to back up my old one(Sampson s8).I got the pyle pro pzr30xa.Big mistake. Its rated 4400 watts which is a joke since it barely will cover a 30x30 room. There is hardly any bass tones. The pa works fine but not at high volume.I got it because the price seemed excellent, should have waited and got another sampson or peavy.I mean really,I get more quality sound out of my sony stereo in my house.

Pyle PTA3000 3000W Professional Power Amplifier Review

If you are expecting to buy something of the quality of a crest, crown, or bgw. This amp is not really for you. This amp compared with other knock offs is quite nice. Yes the back panel looks a little cheap. This is not a touring amp. It will make a nice stationary amp. If you are a weekend warrior, treat your equipment nicely, and or are doing a fixed install this is the amp for you.
I am using two or these amps for live sound at the moment. I think they are far better suited to DJ-ing and music playing which I also do. I am not a sound pro. I am a stage hand who does small level sound often enough. I am a sound enthusiast. I do not label things based on brands but on results.
This amp is a good bit lighter then my older crest cpx 900 and 1500 crest clones. I have also owned a real crest cpx 900. So I can compare this throughly.
This one has a thinner sheet metal case then the older versions and the legitimate crest version. It has smaller heat sinks and smaller transformer. It still preforms though. It also is a fair bit lighter due to everything being smaller. Hence I say this is more a install and like useage amp then a heavy peavey or beefy qsc ( I have owned both of those as well)
I do not get where pyle pro comes out with the 3000 watt claim. The giant head room blah blah blah. I would say its fair give this amp a legit power rating of 900-1200 watts ( comparing to other amps). This amp will lay down 150-200 watts at 8 ohms not questioned asked. It probably does more but I was not trying to run it to clip. It runns easily in 4 ohms and I have yet to try 2 ohms. The possiblity is nice is you need to daisy chain speakers and run them at a lower level. Lots of monitors or something.
This amp has enough juice to run my 15 inch subs, at 4 ohms and make a nice thump. It is a 33 by 100 room.
I also tried these out on a set of JBL eon 1500 passive 15 inch mains. They worked nicely.
Right now I have one running my small 8 inch monitors. Again the amp is working well.
The cross over on the back is a dream. I love that you can link the amps with no other hardware. You can configure them in bridged mono, mono signal to stereo out. etc etc. It is a very versatile amp. I heard no distortion yet in the audio thus far.
I can also say I am happy with these do the price I got them at. I would say 196 free shipping is a fair price. I would wait and look for something more like 175-150 to be really happy at what you get. It is worth the 200 but it just feels so much better to know you got it at a really good price.
Also I hear that pylepro has some quality check issues. Well thing can get botched in shipping. I must either be lucky or I know to buy from quality stores who pack things well. Accidents do happen though. Just return it and try again.
I am a person who runs tri and bi amped systems. If I were running a passive cross over set up I would probably opt for a simpler amp with more raw power. Being that I run a more modern system is why again I chose this amp.
Over all and thus far I am very pleased. I may even get some more pictures of it up.

Marathon DJ-6000 DJ Series Amplifier 900@8 Ohms - 1800@4 Ohms - Up To 6000@8Ohm BrIDge Review

The Marathon DJ 6000 runs cool which is the only thing I like about the unit other than the fact it is very light at 15 lbs which is the big attraction that drew me to the unit other than the low price . Sound like a positive review . However , the 900 watts a channel the unit is rated by Marathon is not RMS so when I hooked it up the amplifier was categorically weak compared to the other 3 amps I own which I have used to power the same speakers which are the Carver TFM 25 which is 175 watts x 2 , the Peavey 1200 which is 280 wats per channel , and the Samson SX 3200 which is rated at 750 watts per side . It will not do to run my system like I intended when I bought the power amp so it will have to be coupled with 1 of my other amps to deliver the sound pressure necessary for the mobile shows that I DJ . Would guess the Marathon DJ 6000 maxes out at maybe 150 watts RMS at the most per side , and that I should have bought 2 of these units to power my moderate Pyle towers to create the proper sound pressure for shows. Would not have purchased the Samson SX 3200 had the Peavy CS 1200 not been seriously over inflating the power output claims . Thought the very heavey old technology dinosaur would pump out 600 watts per side which would have ran my dual 18 sub just fine . Imagine my surprise when I looked at the owner's manual which Peavey admitted the CS 1200 only put out 280 watts RMS each channel . My advise to consumers is to call the manufacturer ,and keep after them until 1 of their tech people responds by email or by phone to give the actual ratings of whatever product you are interested in buying so you know its true capabilities before you execute a purchase .

Behringer EPX2000 Professional 2000-Watt Light Weight Stereo Power Amplifier with Atr (Accelerated Transient Response) Technology Review

Behringer EPX2000 Professional 2000-Watt Light Weight Stereo Power Amplifier with Atr (Accelerated Transient Response) Technology

After thorough research on multiple websites I determined that the Behringer EPX200 was the right amp for my situation. The applied situation for this amplifier is for a fraternity house sound system. So, I emphasize the word rugged in the title, haha. It's been almost a month now and this amp is put through its paces multiple times throughout the week. It's powering two Nady 500 watt speakers and they sound great. This amp puts out plenty of power, and the limiter switch on the back is great because it keeps people from doing harm to the amp or the speakers who don't know how to use it. Seriously, even in a large room, this amp pumps out the sound.

This amp is clean and powerful. Unfortunately, the product description, manual and box all inaccurately claim that it has speakon outputs. IT DOES NOT, but it does have 1/4-inch and banana plug(or bare wire) outputs. Pyle's customer service is horrible. They didn't even realize their packaging and manual were wrong. They just said, "oh, that's a mistake". Now I'm stuck with the speakon cables that came with the speaker tripod combination I bought, also on Amazon.

Have a Studio at home, with full PA. 2 sets of 15 inch bass speaker with a horn, in series with a 12 inch with a horn and 3 tweeters. 8ohms apiece in series becomes 4 ohms.
We have full band set up, the works.
Now I used an Old Carvin power amp I had bought in 1986, finally gave out.
need a quick power amp, inexpensive.
This thing rocks!
The only thing that bothers me is they are not forth right in their power rating. I'm not sure the power rating is what it is, not given all the necessary info.
And can't find it in manual, nor find a schematic of the board.Must be a hidden secret.
But it certainly is powerful enought to light up the neighborhood!
You wont be disappointed for the price,Lets just see if it can outlast the Carvin!
