American Audio VLP600 Professional Amplifier Review

(More customer reviews)This is not a professional DJ amplifier. Lets get that out of the way right now. Based on its performance thus far, I believe that this amp is more for PA systems, Karaoke systems, and basement systems that need a bigger sound than consumer grade receivers can deliver. I have this amplifier connected to 4 Pyle premium series 15" PA speakers, and it delivers a pleasantly loud and clear punch without overheating or clipping. The bonus is this amp has an effective crossover built in. If I wanted to (and I have) I could put these on my to 15" Selenium subwoofers and flip the switch in the back and filter out all the voice and have nothing but quality bass rumbling deep and shaking my house apart. So if you are on a budget, you can save some money on crossovers by buying this amp. So, why not five stars? Its loud! Flip this bad boy on, and the cooling fan comes on with authority keeping the amp cool. Other than that, this is a very nice amp.

Pyle-Pro PDG2000 Blue Rock 2000 Watt Professional Stereo Power Amplifier (19-inch Rack Mount) Review

(More customer reviews)This amp is clean and powerful. Unfortunately, the product description, manual and box all inaccurately claim that it has speakon outputs. IT DOES NOT, but it does have 1/4-inch and banana plug(or bare wire) outputs. Pyle's customer service is horrible. They didn't even realize their packaging and manual were wrong. They just said, "oh, that's a mistake". Now I'm stuck with the speakon cables that came with the speaker tripod combination I bought, also on Amazon.

Pyle-Pro PQ3000 - 3000 Watts Professional Amplifier Review

(More customer reviews)Have a Studio at home, with full PA. 2 sets of 15 inch bass speaker with a horn, in series with a 12 inch with a horn and 3 tweeters. 8ohms apiece in series becomes 4 ohms.
We have full band set up, the works.
Now I used an Old Carvin power amp I had bought in 1986, finally gave out.
need a quick power amp, inexpensive.
This thing rocks!
The only thing that bothers me is they are not forth right in their power rating. I'm not sure the power rating is what it is, not given all the necessary info.
And can't find it in manual, nor find a schematic of the board.Must be a hidden secret.
But it certainly is powerful enought to light up the neighborhood!
You wont be disappointed for the price,Lets just see if it can outlast the Carvin!

I think if you're going to get an amp, you might as well get one the looks cool because after all-- an amp doesn't have too complicated of a job.
The sound quality isn't really shaped by the amp rather, it just reproduces what it's sent so as long as it provides full frequency response, you're golden.
As far as the sound goes-- this sounds like the amp it replaced, it cost less, and like I already mentioned, looks good to boot.
My conclusion is that you cannot go wrong with this product.
