(More customer reviews)The DA-B3000 is one top notch CLASS D power amp. Considering it's size and weight, the performance is outstanding. It pumps 300 watts rms per channel @ 8 ohms. I've had it for awhile now and so far it's been flawless. The only disadvantage I can see is it's not bridgeable for running in mono. It is safe however to run the amp without a speaker connected to one channel. This is according to their Tech Support as well as my own experience. Tech Support also told me NOT to run this amp with 4 ohm loads. It's 550 watt per channel power rating is for a 6 ohm load, although I don't know of a practical way to accomplish that. I'm using it as a power amp for my pedal steel guitar (fed by a PODxt as the preamp). It would be great for bass guitar and standard PA applications as well. The price is very reasonable so definitely check this thing out. It will blow you away!
