(More customer reviews)I've been running old gospel records to CD for some time now. Wore out the turntable's stock stylus, then went through two Audio Technica ones (the ATP-2XN ones), then a Stanton, then this. I think this Ortofon is the best I've had yet. Tracks even better than the Stanton, and clarity is just a shade better than the Audio Technicas.
What I really, really, REALLY like though, is you don't have to spend all that time turning tiny screws in the headshell. There is no headshell. This thing turned a fifteen minute tedious replacement into about twelve seconds.
And no, I'm not an Ortofon employee paid to write a good review. :P I just thought I'd drop a word in for them. If I find a different cartridge that does better, I'll edit this to recommend the better one.
