It's a great bag to store your controller and keep it safe from dust and accidental spills. Also it's well padded so it can survive a drop or objects dropping on it. And you can also flip the top cover, insert it in the gig bag, and then place the Kontrol X1 on top of it, which will raise the controller to mixer level. This is actually a very nice and handy feature, it allows for easier access to your Kontrol X1 while you mix.
I would highly recommend this item to any Kontrol X1 owner.
