WOW ! No dropouts AT ALL! Simple set up, mics sound great! Solid sturdy construction on microphone transmitters. Have tried Audio Technica NADY, Audio2000, Pyle over years.. Use Shures and Sennheiser in Corp shows, but too expensive in bars! These ROCK!

Great range. Light weight. Headset and bodypack transmitter are very comfortable. The bodypack clips to your clothing, therefore I did not need a neoprene belt. The wind sock tends to slip off the mic, but that is not a big deal.

PylePro PDWM2600 Dual UHF Wireless Microphone System Review

PylePro PDWM2600 Dual UHF Wireless Microphone System

I'm a part-time Karaoke host at a couple local bars in my town. A contemporary of mine put together the Mother-of-all-Karaoke Rigs: 12-channel mixing board, Electro-Voice speakers, preamps, compressors, sonic maximizers, Shure x-series wireless mics, intelligent EQs--and everything he bought was from professional music supply houses and brand-new.
I'm exactly the opposite; this isn't my career--it's just a fun hobby. I have a Mackie 808S 8 Channel Powered Mixer driving two JBL loudspeakers and a floor monitor. Period. My rig sounds pretty decent, and I didn't break the bank assembling it. After all, it's not like Britney Spears or Eminem are performing at my shows. However, I liked my buddy's wireless mics, so when I off-handedly asked him what the four of them set him back, I nearly passed out when he said "Oh yeah! I got 'em on sale! Only $659 apiece!"
After a gagging spit-take, I said "Looks like I'll be sticking with my Seindheisser corded mics for a while."
That was until I found this Pyle setup on Amazon here.
Okay, they're not Shures. That much is certain. But for the money, they're really decent little mics. They feel lightweight and plasticky, but have a semi-rubberized coating on them much like my ThinkPad does. The power switches are recessed and fairly rugged, and the battery compartment cover screws onto the bottom of the mics snugly and with authority.
On the back are two balanced XLR outputs--one for each mic--and a single unbalanced 1/4" mixed output. You could use this set on a professional rig, like I do with XLR cables, or connect it to your home stereo with the 1/4".
And the sound? It sounds very decent. The radios work well, with no interference at all. However, the unit puts out an inordinate lot of highs, so to stave off feedback I have to pot down the high EQ on the channels it's connected to. But they still sound good nonetheless. Besides, unlike my buddy, who will doubtless get a peptic ulcer worrying about his wicked-expensive mics in the hands of inebriated revelers, because of the low price, I worry significantly less about Drunkie McDrunkelstein dropping it--I could replace the whole set with less than half the proceeds from a single gig, if necessary.
All-in-all, these mics are a good value for the money. I've been very happy with them.

I use this to record chorus reharsals so I can listen to the recordings later and sing along. It works surpisingly well--and yields a sound ten times better than without a microphone at all. I just wish its cord were a little longer so I could put the cassette recorder on the floor instead of in my lap.

VocoPro UHF-5800 Professional 4 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System Review

VocoPro UHF-5800 Professional 4 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Because our church does a lot of outdoor activities we were interested in going wireless, but the entry price is pretty high for the "known" brands. So we took a chance with the 5800 because it gives 4 mics right away. When we hooked it up, we were astounded! We used tyhe 4 xlr connections so we could eq each one with our mixer. The vocal reproduction was incredible! We did a side by side with our samsung and peavey wired mics and the Vocopro was the clear winner. The range was much better than inspected. We walked with it nearly a full city block before we lost the signal. The rack mount has a very clean layout, and its easy to tell which mics are on and which have a signal. The only downside we saw was the need to replace the alkaline batteries every other service. Rechargeable batteries didn't work well, which is why we are upgrading to the 5805, the same system except with rechargeable mics. I would recommend the 58xx series to anyone. It's inexpensive, but it's clearly not cheap.

VocoPro DA-X10Pro Worlds First Karaoke Mixer with Vocal Enhancer Review

This is just another example of the junk out there that is so Hyped Up in advertising lingo that it should be against the law to even print it. I have been a Karaoke KJ for over four years and thought from the advertising hoopla given this piece of equipment, it just might make a bit of a difference to some of my " on the edge" singers. Well to tell you the truth it makes them sound worse, kind of like they are singing in a barrell. Don't waste your money on VocoPro's "Vocal Enhancer", it is just not worth the money.

Bought these for a live 3 & 4 Piece band. They have worked flawlessly in every situation with no problems at all!!!
Never have had to call technical support. Battries last a long time up to 4 gigs before recharging. Just can't say
enough about them. Very pleased and would highly reccommend them to anyone who doesn't want to sacrafice quality for price! Tried them next to my Sure SM58 and they actually sounded better!

Gemini DJ vhf-2001hl-s26 Wireless Headset Microphone Review

Gemini DJ vhf-2001hl-s26 Wireless Headset Microphone
Average Reviews:

I was pleased with the speed of deliver of this product and its overall performance and construction. I have been using the headsets once a week to assist the dance instructors in one of the programs that I participate at as a volunteer. The sound quality is quite good, clear, loud and the range more than ample for a dance floor with over thirty people in a space roughly 40'x40'. I would give this product a better rating ... however, the last two dance sessions, I have noticed that one of the headsets is experiencing some drop-out. I checked the batteries and even replaced them with new ones but the problem is still there albeit less so. Don't know what may be the cause, whether the product has a defect or could it be due to something else, like rf interference or even placement of the receiver. Both headsets functioned quite well initially so I've got my fingers crossed that the problem is not with the equipment.

Pyle PDWM4300 4 Mic VHF Wireless Microphone System Review

Pyle PDWM4300 4 Mic VHF Wireless Microphone System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We had a problem with the first unit shipped; one headphone system was defective. The Supplier sent an entire new system back when we shipped the old complete unit back to them. The sound quality is not top of the line; however, it is very acceptable in a small environment. Feedback is rare even though the speakers are only 20 feet from the mike. The individual mike level potentiometers and led indicators are a plus; I noticed a level difference from the headsets to the handheld mikes and the level can be adjusted via these potentiometers. Compared to the professional unit that was replaced, this Pyle unit is twice the quality. Pyle PDWM4300 4 Mic VHF Wireless Microphone System
For the price of this unit, I will rate the unit as very good.

This item was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The only draw back was that I had to purchase an adapter for my Aiwo stereo. It is an older model, so the transmitter on the microphone was too large for the connection on my system. Otherwise, it worked great!

Nady Dual Channel Wireless 2-Microphone System - DKW-DUO HT Review

Nady Dual Channel Wireless 2-Microphone System - DKW-DUO HT
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I moonlight a couple nights a week as a Karaoke host in 2 different bars in town. I have a pretty nice setup of equipment and use a Shure Beta 58A Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone as my DJ mic. However for my Karaoke guests, I use these Nady Duo's because they are super cheap and for the most part work pretty good in this application.
Why is cheap important? Because mics that you pass out to singers at the bar are going to be more often than not, especially if their singing karaoke, very drunk! Some sing well and some, not so well but one thing in common happens. Mics get dropped, beer spilled on them and just in general, abused! Though its never happened to me, they can also be stolen. "Shure" in my opinion makes the best mics, however they are also very expensive ones too. When you watch a $600 microphone get dropped or tossed into a puddle of beer or bar-floor muck, you cringe in terror. So the first rule of Karaoke Mics, they must be cheap! Unless you really know and can trust a singer not to destroy it.
The next most important thing to consider is sound quality. Now again, Shure mics have top notch sound quality and these Nady's are a fraction of that. But the difference to be heard in live amateur karaoke singing performances will not be apparent in 80% of all singers. So these Nady Duo Cordless mics sound good enough for most people and the best singers that you will have, wont really expect you to have outstanding mics anyway so its very likely you'll never hear a complaint.
Drawbacks:
Reception - The range on these mics isnt as good as many of the higher priced cordless mics. However you do get a good 40-50 feet of range in clear view of the receiver before you have any chance of a reception problem. I stack the receiver on top of my PA speaker for a little better reception. It seems to work well in every bar application that I've used them in. You will lose range if you need to go through walls!
Feedback - Absolutely all mics can feedback. It depends on how much you have them turned up (gain) and the useable range cone or arc of the mic. What I mean by range cone or arc is if you are holding the mic straight up and down, there will be a V shaped area from the head of the mic upwards that it will pick up sound. So obviously if you are making noise directly pointing at the bottom of the mic, its not going to pick it up unless it reflects off of a surface and hits the top. The Cone range that these mics pick up is fairly large. So it is pretty easy to pick up background noise or feedback because it is too close to a PA speaker. I again compare this to my Shure Beta 58a that has an extremely narrow cone, that mic does has a narrower cone and you almost need to point the mic directly at a speaker to get feedback. So the main key with these Nady's is.. stay clear of the direct path the speakers are pointed in by about 15-20 feet. In fact stay out of the direct firing range of all of your speakers and you'll be in good shape.
Interference - I have seen 3 different sets of these in action. The first set I got, one of the mics has a very consistent whine when turned on. So I only use that one if someone wants a mic for a backup singer. Luckily they have on/off switches so you can flick it off right when they are done. Not all sets will have this and its really only happened with 1 in 3 sets that i've used. I'm sure you can return one and get one that doesnt have this problem.. but for the cost, i didnt feel it was even worth the shipping of sending it back.
So overall, this is a decent low cost wireless microphone set. If you have never owned a mic before and just need them to mess with or the karaoke application that I mentioned, get them. If they dont work out, im sure you can unload them on craigs list for more than you bought em here for. If you need a high quality mike for a band, i suggest you take a look at the Shure SM 58's or Beta 58a's!

Naxa NAM-984 Professional Dual Wireless Microphone Kit Review

Naxa NAM-984 Professional Dual Wireless Microphone Kit

I was tempted by the low price of this item. The only reviewer before me gave it a 5-star rating. Although aware of the unreliability of a single review, I decided to gave it a shot, and paid $10 for shipping--no other way since it's sold through a third party. $28 later, I was holding the biggest $#!* I've seen in a while! The construction feels very cheap, and the instruction manual makes absolutely no sense as if written by a 3-year old. And the worst of all, only one of the two microphones worked. Even the one that works is horrible--the sound out of the speaker is very weak unless you cup your hand around your mouth and the mic. It uses a 9-volt battery in each of the two mics, and that's another 5 bucks out of my pocket. You know what? I'll probably have to eat the $33, since the seller does not refund any shipping charges and charges a hefty fee for returns. Well, I learned a lesson...things are cheap for a reason!

This microphone does the job!....great sound, easy to set up, and haven't had a single problem with it! I certainly don't get any "extra noises" from this microphone as I ever did with a wired microphone! It doesn't pick up every single "puhhhh," "sssssss," or "plunk" when touched or tapped. I'm very happy with it....Only thing though, I recommend getting rechargable batteries...as you'll need to have an extra pair or two if playing long shows as do I....usually 4 hours plus. Most batteries and brands last a good 4-7 hours....but sometimes it just seems that some brands don't last as long as the others...cheaper in the end to just buy the rechargable ones....it doesn't take long...and they last a good while!
Thanks Shure for making such a wonderful microphone!!! Will certainly stay with company forever!

Nady DKW Duo VHF Handheld Wireless Microphone System (Channel B and D) Review

Nady DKW Duo VHF Handheld Wireless Microphone System (Channel B and D)
Average Reviews:

My wife and I were looking for something we could get the children that would work half way decent. All the children's microphone we ever purchased didn't. I don't think this was made for children but it should be painted red, pink, or blue and marketed for children. Most children's products cost more and don't come close to the quality. Plus you get two microphones(no fighting for our two kids). Awesome product for children, can't vouch for professionals. Drawbacks for the parent user is that it comes with a 1/4" plug which most home systems don't have. We had to go to Radio Shack and buy a 1/4" to RCA adapter. Also, the microphones have an on/off switch and if left on 24/7 the 9 volt battery will not last long. Children aren't the best on being responsible about turning things off after they're finished. Stock-up! Very pleased overall.

This is a piece of junk! I have sent one of the microphones and its module back for warranty repairs two times. I have spent over $40.00 in shipping costs for "covered" warranty repairs. That microphone is still not working. If you move as much as 15 feet away from the receiver, there is an awful "whoosing" sound coming from the speakers. I bought this and donated it to our church. It has been totally useless. Don't bother!!
