(More customer reviews)I bought this motor to make my own fly drying unit. The speed is perfect, it mounted easily, and I was able to add some pins on the main stem to hold a foam disc. Everything works as expected. At this time I give it a '4' rating only because I don't know how long it will last - if it continues to run, I would upgrade to a '5'.

(More customer reviews)This American DJ (B0006ZXF2Y) mirror ball motor is advertised as "heavy duty 1 RPM". It is neither. It is made in China, has a plastic housing and is 2 RPM with or without a ball hanging on it. It is important to me to use a slow motor so the lights on the floor going around dont make you dizzy. I am returning this one.
