(More customer reviews)This is one of those things I held off on buying for a while, making do with messenger bags, etc. Problem with messenger bags is that they aren't usually padded, and they let stuff slide around too much. The APC40 with it's knobs and sliders really needs to be protected, and this does it very well. The exterior of the bag is a nice, heavy ballistic nylon, industrial-looking but soft to the touch. I was curious how it would actually look, because the product photos make it look lie shiny ripstop. This is more luggage quality, like a Tumi suitcase. The inside of the bag is red microfiber on the bottom (where the base of the APC sits) and eggcrate foam on the lid where it contacts the aforementioned knobs & sliders. There is a second zippered compartment that looks like it should hold a 17" MacBook Pro without a problem (room to spare with our 13"), and a zippered pocket for power supplies, USB cables, etc. We've squeezed the UDG Creator Serator Record Sleeve - Black into the laptop section before and it fits fine, but you can't zip the top. Overall, nice gig bag or storage alternative.
