(More customer reviews)We put these strings on my daughter's cello that had cheap stock strings, and were surprised at the huge improvement in tone. Very clear and bright--probably too bright for an advanced player, but good for the student players that these strings are designed for. Unless you have absolutely zero budget for your instrument, upgrading from cheap strings to these ones is money well spent.
