(More customer reviews)I have 2 of these ( i always like a backup) i was using the numark idj with the 2 ipods. The cortex is so much better. I really don't need the scratch or pitch being a wedding dj, that's why the first idj was ok. It was a big improvement after 8 years of cd's, but this unit only uses 1 ipod! It also can use a external hard-drive and here's the real reason i love this- KEYBOARD SEARCH! Just type in a few letters and you can find your song in seconds. I have 21,000 songs and had no problems taking last minute request. The only thing i don't think it can do that a laptop can is autodj where the songs fade automatically for you but i'm not that lazy. It takes a little practice to learn everything but you wont be disa ppointed. God bless technology! Being a dj keeps getting better.
