(More customer reviews)I'm not an expert on mixers, and must admit it took me awhile to learn how the Gemini 3-Channel Mixer works. But my first impression of this unit upon opening it, was that this is a well built, quality component; and once I discovered the difference between a "line" and a "phono" input and their selectors thereof, I was satisfied that the device didn't spoil the pure sound that I desire from my Roland D7 bi-amplified monitors. I'm using the Gemini for connectivity to those monitors from an Onkyo CD changer/player, a turntable, and eventually a cassette player ... not to mention my Roland Digital Piano which offers unsurpassed sound for the professional musician.
I'm most pleased by the ability this divice gives me to control high, mid, and low frequencies on various recordings. My monitors have limited adjustment capability, so I needed a way to control the sound without the advantages of a reciever/amplifier. The Gemini gives me this control, and does it very well! I'm pleased.
I'm giving this mixer four stars because the sky is the limit on how much
one can spend on audio equipment. I'm just glad that this one was within my (somewhat modest) budget.
I would definitely buy another Gemini product.
