(More customer reviews)I purchased this stylus to replace two Spherical "S" Ortofon DJ styluses mounted on my Concorde cartridges. The original spherical versions that came on the cartridges performed great, but they were getting old and so is my record collection, from heavy DJ use, i.e. backcueing and mild scratching. I chose to upgrade to the Elliptical versions to extract more sound quality and high end from my vinyl. These styluses are great, they sound excellent, very deep low end and sparkling high end. Plus, under normal use, they won't wear out your vinyl as much as spherical needles. I recommend these tips.
