(More customer reviews)I got this chair today. Its pretty much pre-assembled, there are NO assembly instructions but they are not needed anyway, just look at the picture on the box.
The only thing that I had to figure out is when you slide the pre-assembled seat onto the SEAT BRACE BAR, make sure you slide it on as far as it will go, this exposes the hole in the seat brace for the backrest bar connector.
Then you slide the BACKREST BAR into the narrow slot on the seat. Connect it by screwing the supplied connector (knob/screw) from the underside of the seat brace, up through the seat brace hole into the brass bushing pressed into the backrest bar, and tighten. (They even give you a choice of bushings in the backrest brace for adjustments) Hope this helps.
