It looks beautiful, feels good on the touch and does not appear to affect the sound quality.Keep in mind the unit comes with 6 feet long cables (at best), so you might need to extend those cables depending on the size of your studio.

Would consider buying another pair if needed. Also you get 2 speakers which is an amazing deal. However would only recommend these for monitors not for regular PA speakers. I am genuinely impressed. Also just to add extra info the also have an output built into the speakers.

(More customer reviews)Bought my first Matrix 2000 in 2005 and it is tops in the competitive environment. I'm #1 booked as a DJ in part because of my sound gear. The woofer, although heavy, pumps, and is loved among my college party clients and wedding reception party people. I would have to double the price to upgrade noticeably in sound quality. After caring for it (in operations and in transport), the subwoofer went out (after nearly 6 years). I liked the fact that the satellite speakers (although not as great by themselves) kept my mission moving at a high school gig. I went with purchase of a new Matrix 2000. I'm sold, and it will be a good investment for your business.

(More customer reviews)This is a very simple, very clean-sounding volume knob. Not everyone wants to spend $80 on a volume knob, but if you're looking at this product, you probably know why you need it. I have two complaints, but otherwise this is a great product.
1) It doesn't "stay put" QUITE as much as I'd like. It's good most of the time due to the non-slip pad on the bottom.
2) At exTREMEly low volume levels, as you turn up the volume from silence, the right channel comes in just before the left. Don't let this keep you from buying it. I mean at EXTREMELY low levels. I monitor at a pretty wide variety of volume levels when listening to mixes, and I would never actually listen at the low volumes I'm talking about, but it's just enough to bug me a little :)
Overall, good product. I'm sure there are better out there, but not for $79 (that I know of).

(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of these for one of our churches new sites. We were on a tighter budget but still needed to find something with enough punch. Bought these on a whim and was amazed at the quality! They are plenty loud when paired with the right amps and the clarity is really nice.
These are used for our 2 vocalists. We don't put much of the low end through these as they tend to like the mix heavy on the vocals and acoustic guitar. However we have had to shift them to other band members from time to time and they work great and can handle a nice range of freq's.
Pretty lightweight but really solid on construction and easy to haul around.
All in all a great monitor at a rock bottom price!

Bought these on a whim and was amazed at the quality! They are plenty loud when paired with the right amps and the clarity is really nice.
I use these for the rhythm section of the band so they are pumping out a lot of low end from the bass guitar and from the kick and toms on the kit. Nice clarity and no distortion. I also use one for myself which contains a different mix with a wide range from the vocalists, rhythm section and my acoustic.
For their size they are pretty lightweight and easy to haul around.
All in all a great monitor at a rock bottom price.
