I bought a couple for my studio and they're well built and sturdy. Save yourself a few bucks and buy the four pack. One can never have enough mic stands.

(More customer reviews)I've had this mic stand for a while now. About two months ago the tightening knob broke and the arm would not stand still anymore. I thought that the ceramics and steel were good combination, what i didn't know was that the spiral inside the knob (that hepls it tighten) started to wear off over time, next thing you know it didn't even hold at all. I would not recommend people wasting their money on this product.
I was initially satisfied with it, but now i know that my 20 dollars went down the drain.
