(More customer reviews)I was looking for a vertical type studio bag for my unibody macbook pro 17 which fits very snug. I dont think you can get away with having another case over a macbook and being able to stuff it in its laptop slot.
Anyway, I love this bag. It was hard to tell from the images if the storage and compatments would be enough but there was more storage than expected. Id say it wouldnt work to well for someone that has a lot to carry around, but I assumed on a normal occasion I would be traveling with less, and if I needed to bring more hardware I can just get a separate bag for the extras.
The bag is slim, so it does not bounce around too much supposing you have it in a good spot over your shoulder.
I hate when shoulder bags bounce around. Especially if they it is carrying expensive equipment.
I especially love the zippered compartment on the flap which allows easy access to more common accessories without opening the main compartment of the bag. Inside of this compartment there is a small pocket for placing 'something' in, but it doesnt securely close, so anything you place in there will undoubtly come out when you raise this flap which seems like a pointless pocket.
There are 4 pen holders overall, 2 of which are in the outter flap which is a plus because it is easily accessable.
There is a handle on the top of this bag which I use often, especially when taking the bag off my shoulder so it does not fall to the ground.
I wish the zippered compartment on the rear of the bag was a little deeper.
Also, the main clip on this bag is a little tough to click together. I guess that can be seen as a good thing because it wont come loose, but it snagged my finger the first time which really stung!!!
Overall, I love this bag. Very easy on the shoulder, very well constructed, love the olive green color and got a unbeatable price of around 50 bucks on amazon for it. Guess no one cares for the green, but i like how the green bag is more color consistent then the other bags such as the grey/red one or the brown/blue one. This one is green on green. love it love it love it.

Protec LARGE MIXER PRO PAC (18 X 18 X 5) Review

(More customer reviews)I received my mixer bag today. After looking it over I'm very pleased with it's quality, durability, features and design. Not to mention that the price was fantastic too at $31.61. This item is worth all of that.
I wanted some protection for my mixer to go to gigs with. Mind you, if I were going to have very heavy usage, road warrior travel or airplane rides I would have opted for a top notch hardshell case. But all I need is just some decent protection and so the mixer is not exposed to the elements.
This case really fits the bill. What I love is that it is not just a bag; it does have a fairly hard shell frame on the sides, like a suitcase and is padded decently. It's got a nice big pocket for cords and does have a detachable carry strap. You can also get a backpack strap for it and it has loops sewn onto the back to make it backpackable. It also has little interior pockets for small items and pen holders. Not to mention the MP3 player pocket on the side with a hole to fish your headphone wire through so you could listen while the player is in the bag. Another clever design is that they have a velcro tab on the top zipper edge that you can hide the zipper ends under so they won't slide open during transport.
I was afraid my mixer would be too small for the bag but inside is a velcro strap to help tie it down better. I just put the shorter front edge of the mixer touching the bottom side panel and then the velcro strap can be swung around to the back (higher)edge input side of the mixer, pinninng it in place so it can't float around in the bag. My mixer is a about 14 1/2" X 16" so this leaves me about 3 1/2" of space on the top handle side of the case. This is perfect for my two microphones, one in a small padded bag and one in it's box. They slide in the empty space perfectly and hold everything in place even more securely. The material and zippers seem good and tough. Be sure to unzip the case completely around to the back edge before fully opening the top as it may put strain on the zipper when completely opening the lid.
Be aware that the shorter sides have a bit better protection than the larger surfaces (Top & Bottom). You shouldn't lay the bag down on it's back and pile heavy gear on it or anything. The mixer would be more apt to suffer damage to the control panel sliders if something heavy were dropped on it or it suffered a hard blow to the top center of the bag. It travels and stores better just the way it is shown with the handle oriented at the top like a suitcase.
To me this is bag is an awesome value for the price and I highly recommend it.

There are models that are bigger and models that have wheels or fancier looking, but this product is perfectly compact and has the necessary holes and accesses for cabling. Very satisfied!

The do not seem to be custom-made to fit the lights. That's the only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. The light is just loose inside. Also, the "pouch" for the cables could be larger.

Carrion C-1501 Fretted Dreadnaught Guitar Case Review

(More customer reviews)Ordered on sunday. Delivered on Friday. The case came in a large amazon box. Upon opening the case was wrapped in a plastic bag.
Looking at the case, it looks very nice from the outside. I'm not sure of the material but it is hard. You can push on the case with almost no flex in it. There is a white stitching around the top of the case that makes it look nice.
The case has 4 latches keeping it shut, including one that can be locked with a key that came in the accessory pocket. Its a good handle and is easy to carry.
On the inside there is a black plush type fabric that protects the guitar from scratches. There is a an accessory pocket that is maybe 6 by 4 inches by 3 inches deep. Enough to carry a tuner, some picks, a capo. No books unless you wanna put them on top of or below the guitar.
There is a raised part for the neck to rest on.
I was concerned it might not fit the guitar upon my first attempt to put it in (i have a standard dreadnought guitar) but it slid in and has a good tight fit that prevents the guitar from rattleing around inside.
Case feels a little heavy? but i don't know how much it weighs nor how it compares to other hardshell cases.
Overall, this was a great case as i was looking for something cheap and the only one cheaper than this that i could find was described as cardboard so i took a chance on a case without any reviews and it payed off. I'd recommend it for anyone that wants a nice guitar case.

(More customer reviews)This case is fantastic! It is lightweight, VERY protective and does not add much size to the Zoom Q3, because it fits it almost like a glove. The case is made of a soft foam-rubber material, which (for example) will NOT prevent the device from getting crushed if you step on it, but is more than enough to protect it from the shock of a fall as well as the surface damage it might sustain in a fall.
The case easily fits into a jacket pocket or can be strapped to your belt, a bookbag or anything else using the belt loop. The belt loop has (very strong) Velcro on it so you don't have to remove your belt to loop it through, which I find to be very time saving and useful.
I have had this case for 1 year and still have no complaints. It is well worth it, considering the case that comes with the Zoom Q3 is a cloth bag that will not protect the device from anything but dust.
I highly recommend this case to ensure a long life for your device.

I had initially bought the official Xponent Gig Bag from M-Audio, but found it to be such a ripoff after one use - the material feels cheap and I was constantly worrying about the knobs and switches being knocked out of place. This Marathon case is solidly built, fits the Xponent perfectly, has a removable cover and has a removable front piece and a gap at the back for you to connect your cables and headphones. This way, you can use your Xponent WITHIN the case, keeping your Xponent off the table (in case of spillage). The case comes with two foam cushions, which I presume are meant to cushion the two jog wheels and to hold the Xponent in place when the case is closed. An added benefit is that the plasticky Xponent looks more "professional" when encased in this sturdy set-up - key when you're trying to appear as such in a club setting, in front of a crowd/owner that is used to seeing a DJ with turntables!

I have no idea how to secure the Korg D3200 mixer inside this thing - I don't think it's possible.
This thing comes with an angled wedge -- not sure what it's supposed to do, and also some velcro dividers.
This thing cannot securely hold a mixer. I'm not sure if the idea is that you have to purchase some foam separately? Help me out, thanks.

(More customer reviews)This entry-level Marathon case is a workhorse! The construction is actually quite good for the price and I compare it to the higher priced $300-400 options on Amazon. The carpet is very low-grade, as are some of the hardware assemblies, but they all work and look just fine. The best option is the slanted top rack for mixers and faders - I also think the wheels are great for being an entry-level unit. If you need a good case and are wondering where to start, this is a great option!
Only downside is its so heavy that it had to be freight shipped.

This is not a flimsy cheapo bag. This is a very well constructed bag, and just the right size for the lighting device that it was designed for. I, like many, have carried my DJ lights around the old ragged cardboard boxes they were delivered in for years. When I saw the Arriba bags I knew my prayers have been answered.
