(More customer reviews)Ok, I need to state right off - I bought this for a different purpose than most will. I wanted a better way to combine the sound from a TV and a computer into a single set of headphones so I could hear both without disturbing others.
For my use, this has been a great product. The various adjustments are nice for dealing with different types of video programming - DVDs and BluRays vs. normal TV. The digital mix of these different types of program often benefits from the adjustments this mixer allows. And for simple volume control the slider switches are much nicer than changing the volume on the TV or on the computer.
I'll speculate a bit on its usefulness for someone who needs a real mixer. This one has a nice weight to it and feels really sturdy. The inputs are well laid out too. There are standard screw holes to drop this into a typical DJ board.
There are more expensive versions available so I'm guessing this isn't for a super-serious professional or anything but if you are looking to get started with mixing this could be a good fit. It is a nice product at this price.
