(More customer reviews)I have only had it two days, so I can't comment on the longevity of this item, but the construction is very well, pro-grade materials. The box is very small, but has a huge output. Very bright, vivid green lasers. It does tend to be brighter in the center of the patterns due to the physics of the mirroring in the laser. I researched a lot, and in this category/price-range of lasers, this seemed to be the only box that created shapes within the patterns, and not just the dots (like the product picture.) That is why I got this one after a discussion with a Chauvet sales rep.
I originally saw such a product in one of the night clubs I went too and had to have it. After recently going back to that nightclub, I discovered I bought the exact same model they had. What a bargain! We only use this for house parties, and just wildin' out, in which it lights up the ENTIRE room when angled for such. If I were a DJ, this would be one of my first investments, sure to dazzle ANY crowd and get repeat business and referrals. At this price you'd be crazy not too honestly. If you really want to enhance the effect of the lasers I would recommend getting a fog machine as well. Two big thumbs up!
